Job summary

Tailored Brands is seeking a Seasonal Tailor/Alterations Staff member for our Aurora, IL facility. Duties include tailoring from made-to-measure and ready-to-wear garments, following ticket instructions and ensuring quality workmanship.

You will measure, pin, sew, press, and adjust garments, while maintaining a safe, efficient work area and helping the team meet customer time commitments during peak season.

Qualifications

• Previous tailoring/alterations experience required.
• Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Physical and mental stamina for long shifts.
• Experience with industrial sewing machines and hand sewing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow tailoring/alteration processes per ticket comments.
• Measure, mark, pin, and adjust garments as directed.
• Relocate or replace buttons, re-sew and trim excess material.
• Press garments and maintain machines and workspace.
