Job summary

Premier Swim Academy in Rancho Cucamonga is seeking a Swim Instructor to provide high-quality swim instruction, focusing on water safety, stroke development, and aquatic skills. You will teach individuals or groups, foster confidence, and create a safe learning environment for all ages.

The role is seasonal and hourly, offering $18.00-$20.00 per hour with opportunities to develop professional skills, leadership training, and teamwork in a supportive aquatic community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Available to work 1–3 days a week with 3.1–5 hour shifts and weekends.
• Willing to also work as a customer service representative as needed.
• Candidate must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and willing to learn.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a StarGuard Basic Life Support certification.
• Pass a Live Scan fingerprint background check.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the swim lesson curriculum as provided by Premier Management Staff.
• Ensure the safety of all participants in group and private lessons.
• Set up and break down lesson stations.
• Communicate information promptly to the supervisor.
• Enforce safety rules and proper conduct on deck.
• Foster positive relationships with team and students.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the aquatic facility.
• Attend quarterly in-service training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
