Job summary

Premier Swim Academy in Rancho Cucamonga is hiring a Swim Instructor with no experience required. You will provide high-quality instruction, emphasize water safety, and help learners build confidence through fun, supportive lessons.

This seasonal, hourly role pays $18.00–$20.00 per hour. You’ll work 1–3 days a week (3.1–5 hour shifts) and may assist with customer service. A StarGuard Basic Life Support certification is required or pursued after hire.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to work 1–3 days per week with 3.1–5 hour shifts and weekend availability.
• Willing to also work as a customer service representative as needed.
• Enthusiastic, outgoing, and willing to learn.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours.
• Must obtain StarGuard Basic Life Support certification.
• Pass a Live Scan fingerprint background check.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the swim lesson curriculum as provided by Premier Management Staff
• Responsible for the safety of all program participants in group lessons, private lessons, and patrons on deck
• Set up and break down lesson stations
• Effectively communicate information promptly to the supervisor
• Ensure that all rules and appropriate safety measures are stated, communicated, and carried out by all swim instructors
• Foster positive and supportive relationships with the team and students
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and order for the aquatic facility
• Attend quarterly in-service training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned
