Job summary

Five Below, Inc. is hiring for an hourly supervisory role in Gainesville, TX. You will oversee daily store operations, train associates, and ensure outstanding customer service during all shifts.

You will act as Manager on Duty when needed, manage opening/closing procedures, and work with leadership on merchandising execution to boost sales while controlling costs. This role emphasizes flexibility, communication, and strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew members wow customers through personal contact and fast, friendly check-out.
• Train crew on BE ST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily store activities and staff performance; maintain high service standards.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking shelves for quick placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed and handle store operations and emergencies.
• Open/close the store as required, including cash handling and security.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff effectiveness.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and World Recovery initiatives.
