Job summary

Go! Retail Group is seeking a seasonal part-time store associate to greet customers, process transactions, and support calendar and toy product promotions. You will help maintain merchandising standards, handle shipments, and assist with opening/closing procedures in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, accuracy with the POS, and teamwork while offering flexible weekends and evenings. Previous retail experience is valued for success in this position.

Qualifications

• One year of retail experience (or experience related in this field)
• Enthusiasm about being an impactful and innovative leader

• High integrity, accountability, reliability, and responsible individual who is open to feedback
• Create an exciting shopping experience by staying connected with the customer needs
• Knowledge in retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention
• Basic computer skills, POS system and Microsoft Office
• Able to perform basic math functions
• Flexible and strives in fast paced environment
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer on entry and execute Five Steps to a Sale at every opportunity
• Offer current promotions and special offers and operate the Point of Sale system accurately
• Provide comprehensive service using calendars.com, email marketing, and in-store special orders
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness
• Receive and place new shipments, reset features and promotions, complete housekeeping tasks
• Open and close the store as scheduled, prepare cash bank and make nightly deposits
• Complete opening or closing checklists for every shift
