Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Store Support Teammate in Edwardsville, IL to help create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our guests. You will perform a variety of sales support tasks assigned by the Store Manager and assist guests with merchandise, transactions, and store needs.

This on-site, part-time role involves flexible scheduling, customer service, POS operations, and teamwork to maintain a clean, inviting environment that reflects Buckle’s standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, and be able to answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Complete Guest transactions by operating the POS software and bagging purchases.
• Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Monitor and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
• Assist the Operations Manager and/or Visual Merchandiser in performing merchandising tasks, such as preparing displays and organizing fixtures.
• Consistently maintain a clean, organized and shoppable store to fulfill Buckle’s mission statement.
• Understand and apply Buckle’s Code of Ethics and all policies, procedures, and handbooks.
• Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of Guest service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.
