Job summary

Cavender's is seeking a Seasonal Stocker to support store operations by stocking merchandise, organizing inventory, and keeping the sales floor and backroom neat and well-stocked. You will help prepare merchandise for sale, maintain store standards, and collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth merchandise flow and a positive customer experience.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to stock and organize merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Safe use of store equipment (handheld devices, ladders, dollies).
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to comprehend basic instructions, read documents, and apply them to daily tasks.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to read and understand English.
• Stay alert and productive during assigned work hours.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise to the sales floor and backroom following company standards.
• Organize back stock to maintain inventory accuracy and efficient product flow.
• Assist with processing merchandise, transfers, and returns as directed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor and backroom.
• Assist with merchandising projects, floor moves, and display maintenance to support store presentation standards.
• Remain attentive to store safety and promptly report concerns to management.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise or directing them to the appropriate associate when needed.
