Job summary

Cavender's is seeking a Seasonal Stocker to support store operations by stocking merchandise, maintaining inventory, and keeping the sales floor and backroom clean and organized. You will help prepare merchandise for sale and work with the store team to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

This role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to stock and organize merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Regularly lift, move, and position merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Safely use store equipment per company policies.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Able to understand basic instructions and apply them daily.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise to the sales floor and backroom following standards.
• Inspect tagging, boot pairing, and labeling before stocking.
• Organize back stock to maintain inventory accuracy and product flow.
• Assist with processing merchandise, transfers, and returns as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor and backroom.
• Assist with merchandising projects and floor moves.
• Report safety concerns to store management.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise when needed.
