Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a friendly associate to help customers locate products, assist with checkout, and support store merchandising in Denton, TX. You’ll engage customers with the rewards program and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience.

Responsibilities include stocking, unloading trucks, maintaining planograms, and participating in omni-channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store. Prior retail or customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and accurate cash handling.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enrollments.
• Maintain store appearance through stocking, planograms, and recovery.
• Assist with omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unloading and merchandising duties.
• Support safety programs and SOPs.
