Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a Seasonal Stocker to support store operations by stocking merchandise, maintaining inventory organization, and ensuring the sales floor and backroom are clean, organized, and well-stocked. You will help prepare merchandise for sale and assist with flow to deliver an excellent customer experience.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, and good English literacy to follow instructions and collaborate with the team.

Qualifications

• Ability to stock and organize merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Able to use store equipment safely (handheld devices, step stools, dollies).
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• English literacy and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise on the sales floor and backroom according to standards.
• Inspect merchandise for quality, tagging, boot pairing, and labeling.
• Organize back stock to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Assist with processing merchandise, transfers, returns, and special orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe sales floor and backroom.
• Support merchandising projects and floor moves.
• Report safety concerns to store management and assist customers.
• Arrive punctually and present a neat, professional appearance.
