Job summary

SolarShoppers is hiring seasonal sales and marketing representatives in Palmdale for a part-time, holiday-season outreach role. You’ll connect local homeowners with our solar and battery team, start conversations, and help schedule consultations.

No technical background required—focus is on building relationships and follow-through. You’ll work with a friendly local company recognized for service in the Antelope Valley, supported by a flexible schedule and a performance-based bonus plan.

If you enjoy starting conversations, staying connected on social media, and helping people find useful information, this could be a good fit. This is a sales and outreach position, not a retail checkout or warehouse role.

SolarShoppers has served Palmdale and Lancaster for more than 13 years under the same name and ownership. We’ve been voted AV’s Best by the Antelope Valley Press, and we’re looking for personable, dependable people to support our holiday-season outreach.

You do not need a technical background in solar. Your role is to build interest, make introductions, and help interested homeowners connect with our experienced team.

What your part-time work will involve

• Start warm conversations: Reach out to people you know and ask for introductions to homeowners interested in exploring solar and battery options.
• Share helpful content: Use company-approved social posts and real customer stories to generate interest.
• Follow up thoughtfully: Respond to questions and messages, help arrange consultations, and keep interested homeowners connected with our team.
• Keep opportunities organized: Record your contacts and follow-up activity so nobody gets overlooked.

There is no door knocking in this role. Our team handles technical questions, proposals, and closing, while you focus on relationships and consistent follow-through.

Who should apply

We welcome candidates with experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, sales, or community outreach. We’re especially interested in people who communicate clearly, know the local community, and can commit dependable part-time availability during the seasonal assignment.

You don’t need a large social media following. Being responsive, trustworthy, and comfortable talking with people matters more.

Earnings

As an illustration, one to three qualifying deals would generate $2,500-7,500 in commissions under the proposed compensation plan. This is a production example, not a guaranteed earnings range, salary, or statement of typical results.

Commission eligibility and payment timing will be explained in writing. Commission payments are not guaranteed to arrive before the holidays.
