Alterra's Winter Park Resort is seeking a part-time Snowboard Coach to mentor competitors in advanced techniques and competition, driven to inspire lifelong enjoyment of the sport. The role emphasizes safety, course setup, and video analysis to support participant progress.

The ideal candidate brings a high school diploma, relevant USASA/US Ski & Snowboard experience, and the Level 100 coach clinic within the first year. Prior tuning/modification experience is a plus, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one season in USASA/US Ski & Snowboard/collegiate/high school program or equivalent competition experience.
• Level 100 coach clinic required within first year of employment.
• Snowboard tuning, boot modification experience desirable.
• Must understand USASA/US Ski & Snowboard/FIS rules or be able to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily training for competitors as scheduled by Head Coaches and Program Director.
• Set and maintain courses following USASA/US Ski & Snowboard/FIS specifications for events.
• Prioritize safety in all training environments and ensure facilities and equipment are maintained and stored properly.
• Shoot video and conduct video analysis sessions with participants.
