Mt. Baker Ski Area, Inc. seeks Ski & Snowboard Instructors to provide safe, engaging, and encouraging instruction to guests of all ages and abilities on the mountain.

Instructors may teach skiing, snowboarding, or both, adapting to qualification needs while promoting confidence and enjoyment in a dynamic outdoor environment. Successful candidates are positive, dependable, patient, and capable of maintaining high safety and guest service standards.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a seasonal outdoor environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to meet policy and safety requirements.
• Contemporary ski or snowboard equipment and outerwear required.
• Confidence skiing/riding on beginner terrain as a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Teach ski/snowboard skills in group and private settings with excellent customer service.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Maintain knowledge of Mt. Baker Ski Area policies and facilities.
• Perform duties as trained and contribute to department teamwork.
