Job summary

Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort in Wenatchee, WA, is seeking a Midway Staff member for the seasonal food and beverage service role. You will take orders, prepare items, handle cash, and ensure a clean, well-stocked dining area for guests at Mission Ridge.

The position requires ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in outdoor mountain conditions. Prior guest service experience and valid WA food service permits are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Washington State Health District Food Server Permit and Class 12 or 13 Server Permit.
• Experience in fast-paced guest service is preferred.
• Ability to manage cash transactions accurately and reconcile sales.

Responsibilities

• Cash Handling & Register Operation: Operate the cash register during shifts, manage a personal bank, and process guest transactions accurately.
• Sales Reconciliation: Reconcile and balance receipts against system sales reports and complete a daily cash sales report.
• Guest Assistance: Assist guests with menu selections and provide a welcoming, efficient dining experience.
• Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare menu items including sandwiches and specialty foods using equipment such as convection ovens, steam tables, and gas BBQs.
• Cleanliness & Bussing: Maintain a clean and organized dining area; assist with bussing tables and perform end-of-shift cleanup duties.
• Stocking & Product Maintenance: Keep the food court, condiment stations, and deck areas clean and stocked throughout service hours.
