Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring Holiday-Help Rental Associates for the 2026/2027 winter season. You’ll generate sales through world-class guest service, assist guests with rental equipment, and provide gear and services for an unforgettable outdoor experience.

The role is flexible and may rotate across resort rental locations and other departments. Starting wage is $20.00–$23.00 per hour, with part-time schedules 10-20 hours weekly during peak periods and 50-100 hours across the winter season.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service at one of our retail shops.
• Fit guests with equipment - we'll train you!
• Explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibility for the equipment during the rental including length of rental and return options
• Work together with teammates to maintain safety standards
• May include other duties such as cashiering, retail sales, and other dut
• Other duties as assigned
