Job summary

Vail Resorts in the United States is hiring for winter-season roles at our mountain resorts. Join our team for Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 with full-time or part-time hours, starting wage $20/hour, and access to free passes, lessons, and great employee discounts.

You’ll work in retail rental operations, deliver outstanding guest service, help guests select gear, and learn safety and rental procedures across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Must communicate fluently in English.
• Interest in outdoor and mountain retail environments.
• Ability to stand, move, and assist guests in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service at one of our retail shops.
• Fit guests with equipment and provide training.
• Explain how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain safety standards.
• May include cashiering, retail sales, and other duties as assigned.
