Job summary

Vail Resorts in Colorado invites applicants for Winter Seasonal Rental Associate positions for 2026/2027. You will deliver world-class guest service in our retail shops, fit guests with rental equipment, and explain usage, safety, and return options for gear.

Starting wage is $20 per hour, with roles across mountain activities, retail rental operations, and more. Must be 18+, fluent in English, and able to work nights, holidays, and weekends; housing is not provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Commitment to exceptional Customer Service.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to stand and move in an active, team-oriented environment for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service at one of our retail shops.
• Fit guests with equipment - we'll train you!
• Explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibility for the equipment during the rental including length of rental and return options.
• Work together with teammates to maintain safety standard
• May include other duties such as cashiering, retail sales
• Other duties as assigned
