Job summary

Lake Compounce is seeking a Seasonal Security Agent to help keep guests and staff safe. The role pays $18/hour and requires a Connecticut Guard Card, a high school diploma (or equivalent), and 1+ year of security experience.

Fluency in English is preferred and a flexible schedule is often needed. Responsibilities include enforcing park rules, monitoring assets, performing bag checks, coordinating with leadership, and handling emergencies with calm, professional communication.

Qualifications

• Connecticut Guard Card is required.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• 1+ year of previous security or related experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Enforce all Park rules and regulations.
• Monitor Park assets to ensure guest and employee safety.
• Maintain vigilance during park operation and report issues promptly.
• Conduct bag checks to prevent prohibited items from entering the park.
• Maintain compliance with policies to create a safe environment.
• Assist in safety prevention and emergency responses.
• Operate cameras, radios, and other security equipment.
