Headland, AL. Compensation begins at $16.00/hr or more, contingent upon your background. Standard shifts run from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, though you should be prepared for longer days, potentially lasting until 9:00 PM or beyond, to meet seasonal demands.

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Seasonal Scale Operator to assist with our agricultural facility's operations throughout the peanut harvest. Your primary focus will involve managing truck scale operations, inputting significant amounts of data, documenting crop information precisely, and safeguarding product quality.

Key Tasks and Duties

• Manage the weighing of vehicles entering and departing the site to ensure accurate load tracking.
• Document and verify essential load and crop details to maintain precise records.
• Input large quantities of information into our digital systems with high speed and precision.
• Generate and organize batch records, load tickets, and necessary operational paperwork.
• Help maintain product integrity by ensuring all crops and customer lots are correctly labeled and segregated.
• Process incoming customer requests by logging them into our inventory and tracking software.
• Oversee scale operations to help streamline the flow of truck traffic through the site.
• Organize and file documentation to ensure the facility remains audit-ready.
• Handle incoming calls and provide professional assistance to visitors, drivers, and clients.
• Facilitate clear communication between management, production teams, and drivers regarding load status.
• Resolve any inconsistencies found in weight data or load documentation to improve operational accuracy.
• Provide general clerical and operational assistance as needed during the busy season.

Required Skills and Experience
