Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak periods. You will focus on sales, guest service, store maintenance, and executing the Circle of Life buy, sell, trade, and reservation approach.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with gaming needs, stocking shelves, maintaining cleanliness, and helping meet sales and shrinkage goals while following all store policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with their video gaming needs, applying selling behaviors during every transaction.
• Fully support the shopping environment and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the team to keep store areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure shelves are well-presented and alphabetized.
• Help the team meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices and follow safety best practices.
• Follow store policies including attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethics.
