Job summary

GameStop Corp. in Rockingham, NC is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak sales days. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and delivering outstanding guest service experiences in a rapid, retail environment.

The role requires greeting guests, assisting with gaming needs, restocking, keeping the store clean and organized, and upholding company policies. Availability during nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by promptly greeting guests, assisting them with their video gaming needs, recommending additional items, applying selling behaviors, and thanking guests for choosing GameStop.
• Support the shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise, transfer products from stock room to front, and ensure shelves are well-presented and organized.
• Assist in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and safety best practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethics.
