Job summary

Gateway Riverboat Cruises is seeking friendly servers to join our team aboard the riverboats and Paddlewheel Café aboard the Gateway Arch. You will assist guests, take orders, serve meals and beverages, and help ensure a memorable cruise experience for every guest.

As a seasonal server, you’ll work on a moving vessel, deliver outstanding guest service, handle orders with accuracy, and coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain presentation and speed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass alcohol and drug screening (to include THC).
• Must pass background check.
• Must pass math proficiency questionnaire (located in employee application).
• Willing to work on a moving vessel in water and outdoors (hot and cold environments).

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly guest service and take orders accurately.
• Deliver orders in a timely manner and maintain quality.
• Work with kitchen and crew to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of dining areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and vessel.
