Job summary

Gateway Arch invites applications for a Ticket Sales Agent with Riverboats to join our riverfront operation. The role involves handling ticket sales, gift shop duties, and concessions on board and at the dock, delivering friendly guest service during sightseeing cruises.

You will learn pricing, menus, and cruise information, meet daily sales goals, and work on a moving vessel in outdoor conditions. Must be at least 16 and pass screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screening (including THC).
• Must pass background check.
• Must pass math proficiency questionnaire (located on employee application).
• Willing to work on a moving vessel in water and outdoors (hot and cold environments).

Responsibilities

• Sell event tickets, work in the gift shop, and operate concessions.
• Engage guests with a warm, genuine and friendly manner.
• Assist with stocking and restocking supplies.
• Maintain knowledge of pricing, menu items, and general cruise information.
• Monitor and work to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals at all Points of Sale.
• Act as runner on dinner and specialty cruises when necessary.
