Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. store in Lancaster, CA is hiring for a customer-focused team member. You will assist customers, process transactions, and promote rewards and credit programs.

You will also support online order processes like BOPIS and SFS, and help keep the store well-stocked and presentable. Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience and can work standing for long periods; evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go backs, and general store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; maintain professional conduct and positive image.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Other duties as assigned
