Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Associate in Illinois to assist customers, stock merchandise, and process purchases. You will help customers find products, explain benefits, and participate in omnichannel processes such as BOPIS and SFS. The role involves standing for long periods, lifting, and following SOPs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs; ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Interact with others respectfully; promote the organization’s vision and values; be a role model for Team Members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Other duties as assigned
