Job summary

Michaels in Troy, MI is seeking a customer service–oriented associate to help customers shop, locate products, and ensure fast, friendly checkout experiences. You will participate in truck unloads, stocking, and maintaining in-stock, well-merchandised merchandise across the store.

The role involves assisting with Omnichannel processes (BOPIS/SFS), engaging customers in rewards programs, and supporting safety and SOP compliance. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is helpful.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, Ship From Store).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain merchandise and conduct stock recovery to keep store in-stock and well-merchandised.
