Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Mobile, AL retail team member to assist customers, ensure rapid checkout, and support store operations. You will help customers find products, enroll them in rewards programs, and participate in BOPIS/SFS processes while maintaining stock levels and merchandising standards.

The role emphasizes a friendly, helpful attitude, adherence to SOPs, and cross-training in framing services, with shifts including nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout with standard cash handling
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
• Educate customers on the VOC survey and participation
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS)
• Support truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties
• Complete merchandise recovery and store maintenance to stay in stock and merchandised
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact respectfully and serve as a role model for team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
