Oregon Garden Resort in Silverton, OR, is hiring Seasonal Retail Associates for the Silverton Christmas Market. This festive event runs November 20 – December 31, offering merchandise sales, friendly service, and a cheerful holiday ambience in our retail booths.

You’ll greet guests, process transactions with a Square handheld POS, restock displays, and help guests find gifts. In-person job fairs required; evenings 4:30–9:15 PM; outdoor work in variable winter weather; prior hospitality

Qualifications

Job description

We’re hiring Seasonal Retail Associates to join the Silverton Christmas Market team! This festive event runs from November 20 – December 31 and features more than 2 million lights, vendors, food, attractions, and holiday fun.

Our Retail Associates help guests shop for Christmas Market merchandise and holiday gifts while providing friendly, knowledgeable service in our retail booths.

JOB HIGHLIGHTS

• Greet guests and assist with merchandise purchases
• Process transactions using a Square handheld POS system
• Learn about the merchandise you’re selling so you can answer guest questions and help them find what they’re looking for
• Restock merchandise and keep displays neat, organized, and appealing
• Assist with maintaining accurate and organized merchandise throughout the shift
• Interact directly with guests and provide friendly, helpful service
• Help create an enjoyable holiday shopping experience for Christmas Market guests

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Comfortable using technology and handheld POS systems
• Detail-oriented and able to keep merchandise and displays organized
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Able to work outdoors in cold, rainy, and changing winter weather
• Available to work evening shifts, typically around 4:30–9:15 PM. Shift times vary by position and event needs.
