Job summary

The Oregon Garden Resort is seeking dependable, hardworking team members to support our food and beverage operations during the busy holiday season. This seasonal role is cross-trained in three positions—Host, Busser, and Food Runner—and may involve work at the Garden View Restaurant, Fireside Lounge, and Food Haus during the Silverton Christmas Market.

Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented qualities are valued.
• Experience in hospitality or customer service is helpful but not required.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a busy setting.

Responsibilities

• Host guests: welcome, seat, and assist with flow of service.
• Bus tables: clear, clean, and reset dining areas.
• Food runner: deliver orders quickly from kitchen to guests.
• Restock supplies and service items as needed.
• Communicate with kitchen and service staff to keep operations smooth.
• Maintain clean and organized dining and service areas.
• Assist with opening, closing, and other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Oregon Garden Resort is looking for dependable, hardworking team members to support our food and beverage operations during the busy holiday season!

This position will be cross-trained in three roles: Host, Busser, and Food Runner. Team members will be assigned one role per shift, with opportunities to work in our Garden View Restaurant, Fireside Lounge, and Food Haus during the Silverton Christmas Market.

This seasonal position is expected to run through approximately January 4, 2027.

What You'll Do

• Hosting: Welcome guests, manage seating, and assist with the flow of restaurant service
• Bussing: Clear, clean, and reset tables while keeping dining areas organized
• Food Running: Deliver food orders quickly and accurately from the kitchen to guests
• Restock supplies, utensils, napkins, and other service items
• Communicate with kitchen and service staff to keep operations running smoothly
• Help maintain clean and organized dining and service areas
• Assist with opening, closing, and other duties as assigned

Depending on your assigned role, you may work in more than one food service outlet during your shift.

What We're Looking For

• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays or bus tubs throughout a shift
• Willingness to learn all three positions
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is helpful but not required
• Must have or be willing to obtain an Oregon Food Handler Card

Schedule

• Seasonal employment through approximately January 4, 2027
• Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Flexible availability is preferred, particularly during the Silverton Christmas Market
