Job summary

Michaels Stores in Baltimore is hiring for a Store Associate. You will help customers find products, operate the register, and support store operations to keep shelves stocked and visually appealing.

This position requires standing for long periods, ability to lift items, and willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings. Benefits include employee discounts and health/retirement options.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Conduct merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go backs.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact with others in a positive, respectful manner and model company values.
