Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store team member for the BALT-CANTON, MD location. You will help customers, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.

You’ll engage customers in Michaels Rewards and enrollment in the Private Label Credit Card, while supporting in-store operations and omnichannel processes. The role involves truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and maintaining in-stock merchandise.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Must satisfy federal, state and local legal requirements; at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Promote Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Maintain stock and recovery processes; support store in-stock and merchandising.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
• Interact respectfully with customers and teammates; model company values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
