The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking store team members in Germantown, MD to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout. You will handle unloading, stocking, and planogram duties to keep our store well-merchandised and in stock.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, enrolling them in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, supporting BOPIS/SFS, and maintaining store safety and inventory accuracy while upholding company SOPs and policies.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to remain standing for long periods
• Able to move throughout the store and lift heavy boxes

Responsabilités

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintain stock and backroom areas
• Support Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs and SOP adherence
• Interact respectfully with teammates and customers; model Michaels values
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
