Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Team Member in Shelby Township, MI to assist customers, stock shelves and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You’ll help customers locate items, process transactions, and participate in truck unload and replenishment activities to keep the store well merchandised.

Qualifications include retail or customer service experience; the role requires standing and moving throughout the store. The Michaels team offers benefits and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Explain Rewards program and enroll customers.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram compliance.
• Maintain in-stock and merchandise recovery through go-back processes.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; promote a positive, respectful workplace.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
