Job summary

Michaels is hiring at the Omaha-Papillion store to deliver friendly service, help customers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. The role involves unloading trucks, stocking, and keeping shelves well merchandised to meet brand standards.

You will engage customers about the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and participate in Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) processes.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Benefits program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Perform merchandise recovery and store recovery to keep shelves in stock.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
