Job summary

Michaels in Salisbury, MD is hiring for a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure fast checkout experiences. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

You’ll engage customers with rewards program enrollments, support omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS, and follow SOPs to ensure safety and brand standards. Flexible hours may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and move throughout the store

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return / go back process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
