Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Cary, NC is hiring for a Store Associate to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience across the HomeGoods location. You will engage with customers, maintain a clean sales floor, and support checkout procedures.

You’ll learn company policies, participate in loss prevention, and help with merchandising, restocking, and store recovery during shifts. A positive attitude, strong communication, and the ability to multitask are essential.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established operating procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
