Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Seasonal Associate for our Lancaster, CA location. You will help customers shop, provide a fast and friendly checkout, and ensure a well-merchandised, in-stock store through truck unloading and stocking.

You will engage customers with information on the Rewards program and private label credit options, assist with Omni-channel tasks like BOPIS and SFS, and support planograms and store recovery efforts. Flexibility for varied shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• Customer service oriented.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in-store.
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties; maintain stock and planograms.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes (BOPIS and Ship From Store).
• Assist with stocking, SISO and AD set duties; support store recovery and shrink/safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; uphold brand standards and professional conduct.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.
