Job summary

Michaels Store Associate in Huntsville-Madison, AL delivers friendly customer service, helps customers locate products, and ensures a fast checkout experience. You will assist with stocking, planograms, and merchandise recovery to keep the store well-merchandised and in-stock.

Engage customers in our Rewards program and Private Label options, support BOPIS/SFS, and follow SOPs. Retail experience is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move boxes.
• Excellent communication and willingness to help customers.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Engage customers in Rewards program enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planograms.
• Maintain in-stock condition and manage returns/go backs.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies.
• Remain positive and be a role model for teammates.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
