Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Seasonal Part-time associate at our Anchorage store. You will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers with product selection, and ensure a fast checkout experience. The role includes unloading trucks, stocking, and supporting omnichannel processes such as BOPIS and SFS.

Flexibility for nights, weekends, and early shifts is expected. The store emphasizes safety, merchandise presentation, and customer satisfaction as essential priorities.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience.
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store including maintaining store recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
