Job summary

Michaels Stores in Rocky Point, NY is seeking a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure fast checkout. You will assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planograms to maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

Additionally, you’ll participate in omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, support shrink and safety programs, and cross-train in Custom Framing selling.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the return/go back process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Interact professionally and positively, serving as a role model for Team Members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
