Job summary

Stratton Mountain Resort is seeking a Kitchen Attendant to support the Kitchen and service staff. This full-time seasonal role pays $20.00/hour and includes janitorial and prep duties to ensure smooth service.

You’ll work as part of the Food and Beverage team, with potential for future opportunities. The recruitment for this role will continue through December, offering a pathway to year-round employment.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a High School Diploma or equivalent, required
• Previous kitchen experience, preferred, not required
• Responsible and dependable - able to carry out assigned duties without supervision
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Exceptional time management skills
• Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware
• Preparation for next shift by cleaning and restocking dish storage areas and cook stations
• Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
• Sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled
• Taking out the trash, recycling and compost and rinsing garbage cans
• Commit to safely operating commercial dish machine
• Remain current with company issued trainings and required certifications
• Additional duties as assigned
