Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company seeks a Snow School Kitchen Attendant at Stratton to support the Junior School kitchen during the seasonal period. Responsibilities include meal prep, service, and cleanup, ensuring safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers part-time and full-time seasonal opportunities, with compensation at $20.00 per hour and ongoing recruitment through December. Prior kitchen experience and comfort working with children are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a kitchen.

• Excellent communication skills and people skills.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, meal service, and cleanup for each mealtime in the Junior School Kitchen.
• Prepare and organize food for daily meals and snacks.
• Serve meals to instructors and children.
• Clean and maintain the Junior School Kitchen and lunchroom throughout the day.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining, and surrounding areas.
• Address minor issues and communicate safety or operational concerns to supervisor.
• Follow kitchen, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by managers or the Supervisor.
