Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night-shift, per diem position in Florida. The RN will oversee patient assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluations, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care and safe patient experiences.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, and, for telemetry units, ACLS and basic EKG interpretation. Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team is essential to discharge patients with optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• BLS certification by American Heart Association required
• ACLS and Basic EKG interpretation required for telemetry and higher acuity units

Job Type: Per Diem

The RN provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing are to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination of the patient's experience and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs high quality and patient focused care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluations, which facilitate patient care.

EDUCATION:

• Minimum: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
• Preferred: BSN

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

• Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• For Telemetry and higher acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and Basic EKG interpretation are also required.
