Job summary

Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Neurology Telemetry Unit on a full-time night shift in Florida. The role requires completion of an accredited RN program and an active Florida RN license (or Compact).

BSN preferred, with at least 2 years in Telemetry or Cardiac units. Responsibilities include observation, assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation of patient care, plus administering medications and treatments as prescribed.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited RN program.
• RN license in the State of Florida, COMPACT nursing state, or ability to obtain one.
• BSN is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in Telemetry or Cardiac Units in an acute care hospital as an RN.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification within the first 30 days of work.

Responsibilities

Full-Time NIGHTS

Registered Nurse candidates for the Cardiac Neuro Telemetry Unit will have the following job responsibilities:

• The Cardiac Neuro Registered Nurse is responsible for the observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care; health teaching and counseling of the ill, injured, or infirm; and the promotion of wellness, maintenance of health, and prevention of illness of others.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed practitioner authorized by the laws of this state to prescribe such medications and treatments.
• 12-hour shifts.

• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in the Telemetry or Cardiac Units an acute care hospital as an RN.
• Must have BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Must have NIHSS certification within the first 30 days of work. (Must work under NIHSS credentials until training certificate obtained.

Sal range:

$29.00 (2yr)- $32.70(5 yr)- $36.81(10yr) $42.13 (17yr MAX)
