Tenet Healthcare in Florida is seeking a registered nurse for night shift per diem. The RN will provide patient-centered care, coordinate services, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role emphasizes adherence to infection control and hospital policies while supporting a collaborative care environment. The ideal candidate holds Florida RN licensure, BLS certification, and preferably ACLS/EKG interpretation experience for telemetry units; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• License to practice as RN in Florida is required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and EKG interpretation preferred for telemetry.
• BSN degree preferred by the facility.

Job Shift: Nights

Job Type: Per Diem

The RN provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing are to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination of the patient's experience and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs high quality and patient focused care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided.

Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.

Attends and participates in meetings and is responsible for information communicated at meetings.

Adheres to Corporate, Regional, hospital and departmental policy and procedure 100% of the time.

Assists all patient s, family members, physicians, visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner.

Follows Infection Control procedures at all times.

Adheres to the following environmental care standards.

Demonstrates the ability to adapt to varied age-specific patient populations.

EDUCATION

• Minimum: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
• Preferred: BSN

EXPERIENCE

• None

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION

• Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• For Telemetry and higher acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and Basic EKG interpretation are also required.
