What you'll do...
Are you passionate about finding and hiring the best talent for tax office roles? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment? Do you have excellent communication and customer service skills? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our fully-remote Seasonal Recruiter position!
As a Seasonal Recruiter, you will partner with District General Managers in hard to fill locations to recruit, screen, and hire tax office positions. You will be responsible for sourcing candidates from various channels, conducting phone interviews, coordinating hiring events, and ensuring a high quality, high touch candidate experience throughout the process. You will also work closely with the Talent Acquisition (Field) team to support their strategies and initiatives.

Day to day, you'll...

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified and diverse candidates for tax office roles using various sourcing methods, such as job boards, social media, referrals, etc.
  • Conduct phone interviews with candidates and assess their fit for the role and the company culture.
  • Schedule and coordinate hiring events, such as job fairs, open houses, etc., in collaboration with District Managers and Operations Support Team(s).
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to candidates, District Managers and Talent Acquisition (Field) team on the status of the hiring process.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to hiring and employment.
  • Participate in Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives as assigned.

What you'll bring to the team...

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.
  • Two or more years of recruiting or staffing experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Intermediate MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Familiarity with various HR systems and tools, such as Workday, iCIMS, etc.
  • Proven success in previous roles as shown by increased responsibilities and career progression.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support hiring events and meet with district managers.

Pay Range Information

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.

Pay Range

$53,000.00 - $80,000.00/Yr.
