The City of Corvallis Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a part-time Recreation Leader to assist with camps, sports, classes, and community events. You will supervise participants, help deliver engaging activities, and ensure a welcoming, safe environment in accordance with program plans.

Responsibilities include customer service to families, following safety guidelines, and assisting with attendance and basic program documentation.

Qualificações

• Requires at least one season of recreation, youth program, or customer service experience and ability to lead activities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; may be enrolled in high school.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with implementing recreation programs such as camps, sports leagues, classes, drop-in programs, and events.
• Supervise participants to ensure safety and appropriate behavior.
• Lead or assist with games, crafts, and exercises following established plans and guidance.
• Provide courteous customer service to participants, families, and the public.
• Follow safety policies, assist with setup/cleanup, and monitor spaces and equipment.
• Maintain attendance tracking and basic program documentation as directed.
