Job summary

Adaptive Sports Association (ASA) invites interns to support summer and winter outdoor recreation programs for people with disabilities. Interns will assist with planning, leading clinics, and equipment maintenance, working with staff and volunteers to advance ASA’s mission.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, independence, and a willingness to lead adaptive lessons. Some certifications (First Aid/CPR or WFR, PSIA/AASI) are preferred, and housing and passes may be offered as part of the

Qualifications

• Clear communication with staff, participants, and volunteers.
• Ability to work independently and think creatively.
• Ability/willingness to lead adaptive lessons/trips.
• First Aid/CPR and/or Wilderness First Responder required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in program planning and implementation for summer and winter programs.
• Coordinate evaluations and lead clinics.
• Maintain equipment and assist with office duties and projects.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to support ASA’s mission.
• Work indoors and outdoors under varying weather conditions.
