Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting seasonal opportunity? BlueTriton Brands is seeking a Seasonal Production Technician to support customer demand. This full-time role during our "busy season" varies each year. If you're interested in earning extra income, please read on.

Compensation

Pay: $27.49 / hour

Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate for applicable hours worked

Schedule
  • 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule (3/4/4/3)
  • 6:00 pm - 6:00 am (Night Shift)
  • 6:00 am - 6:00 pm (Day Shift)
  • Ability to work holidays and weekends as needed
  • Must attend training on scheduled days
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on production equipment such as fillers, labelers, case packers, palletizers, blow mold machines, wrappers, and forklifts
  • Record preventative maintenance activities, quality inspection data, equipment downtime, production output, and other metrics
  • Follow safe work practices and participate in safety programs
  • Communicate effectively regarding issues that affect operations
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics including efficiency and quality
  • Perform hourly quality checks and inspect raw materials
  • Collaborate with other departments to maximize output and efficiency
  • Attend meetings and participate in continuous improvement efforts
  • Maintain an organized and safe workstation
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts, including start-up and handover meetings
  • Experience with high-speed production and basic maintenance preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Computer skills; SAP experience a plus
  • Forklift experience preferred but trainable
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions
