Job summary

Western Sugar Cooperative seeks seasonal, full-time workers in Scottsbluff, NE to support our campaign season. Pay is $18.50 per hour with over-time opportunities and on-site training provided.

No prior experience is required, but candidates must pass pre-screening and drug testing and be willing to work rotating 8 or 12 hour shifts. Roles include safety-focused production tasks and potential for advancement or year-round employment after the campaign season ends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and understand English.
• Willingness to clean and maintain a clean and safe production area.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn the in-depth knowledge of the sugar factory processes.

Responsibilities

• Be a safety leader with solid safety behaviors and demonstrated leadership.
• Commitment to regular attendance.
• Process Helper – willing to learn multiple positions.
• Actively communicate with the Shift Supervisor and all Team members.
• Requires multi-tasking, good organizational skills and self-motivation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals.
• Ability to work within a rotating or fixed shift schedule.
